This is a kind of Susan similar to Jian Chan, fired in Yonghe town, Ji’an province, Jiangxi province, China in Song dynasty. The outside of the cup is yellowish-brown with black spots.
It is called “skin cup” by tea masters. The prospective cups are decorated with plum blossoms, phoenixes, leaves, and sometimes with arabesques. (Ozaki Shunsheng)
