Specialties. Korean teacups and Honte soba noodles. The name “Tamagawa” was taken from a poem by Fumaira Matsudaira, who likened the blue and yellow colors of the teacups to the reflection in the water of the mountain fountain, “Koma tomete naho mizu kahamu yamabu hana no dewdrops sojyuu ide no tamagawa”. The poem was composed by Toshinari. It was owned by Kyohei Umakoshi, and later entered the Nozaki Kota family. (Taisho Meikikan)
