 This jar was used as a lid for the jar shown in Figure 115 above. The body of the bowl is a large flat bowl with a curved bend, and part of the mouth rim is bent outward to form a one-sided mouth. It is made of rolled-up clay, and the inner and outer surfaces are adjusted with a horizontal nadir. The bottom of the vessel has an itokiri bottom, which is clearly different from that of the Suzu vessels in that the bottom of the Suzu vessels has a static itokiri bottom. The clay contains many fine particles of feldspar, and the firing is not so good. Although the firing process is different from that of the previous jar, the clay is of exactly the same quality.
