Height 63.7 cm, mouth diameter 51.0 cm, body diameter 58.5 cm, bottom diameter 19.4 cm
This is the largest Shigaraki jar known today. The mouth rim band shows slight traces of N-shaped folding, but the inner surface is stepped by a thick concave line. The body is made of five-tiered molding with a gentle curve from the shoulder to the body. The body is made of coarse clay containing a large amount of long quartzite, and is well fired to a reddish-brown color with a light green natural glaze on the shoulder and half of the body.
