Height 38.2cm, mouth diameter 14.0cm, body diameter 29.8-30.4cm, bottom diameter 15.0cm
The upright rim of the mouth and neck, the dark green natural glaze on the ovoid body flowing down to the lower half of the body, and the X mark engraved on the shoulder all point to a similarity with the Tamba jar. The clay is unique to Iga, with fine feldspar grains and iron particles, and is well-fired to a brownish-brown color. There is no doubt that the pot was made in Iga. At this stage, there must have been some kind of exchange between the two groups, and the data may support this.
