This bowl is decorated with a lotus and floral motif on the front and a bamboo grass arabesque around the rim. This type of pot was probably fired in the Ohira or Motoyashiki area. The coloring of the iron painting is rather light, and the Shino glaze is smooth and thick, with a hint of red around the bottom. There are five small marks on the surface and five round marks between the legs on the bottom.
