 This mukozuke was made in the shape of a fan by molding, and the sides are raised vertically. The mouth is decorated with a rim design, and the prospective view is decorated with a plum blossom-like floral design centering on a glazed pattern. The glaze is thick, but the ware is softly glazed, and the design is dark and vivid. Fan-shaped mukozuke are often seen in Oribe ware, and this mukozuke is thought to have been fired in the climbing kiln at Motoyashiki.
