 This tea caddy has a rounded, twisted mouth and a body that rises up to the edge of the body. The body rises up with a slightly protruding hem. The waist is irregularly cut, and the bottom is oval. The body is four-sided, with one or two vertical spatula lines on each side to add variety. The body has a reddish tint on two sides and the rest of the body has a grayish-blue sangiri color. The bottom is marked with a kiln mark. It is said to have been made by Shinbei.
