Height 24.2cm, mouth diameter 7.8-8.4cm, bottom diameter 10.6-11.2cm
Hatakeyama Memorial Museum
This vase has a triangular-shaped body and a simple shape, which is rare for Iga ware. Although there are no other examples of this type of vase, the triangular vase used by Oribe in Keicho 7 may have been of this shape. The two sides are heavily covered with ash, creating a beautiful glazed surface, and the back is reddish brown with a streak of beadlo glaze running across it. The triangular ridge is vertically spattered on two sides, and the back is decorated with a King Kin.
