Height 8.7cm, mouth diameter 13.1cm, base diameter 6.6cm
This is a large tea bowl with a lathe and a spatula after being thrown on the potter’s wheel, with a warped mouth, chamfering-style spatula around the waist, and a wide base with tatami mats. It has a wide base with tatami mats. This is a powerful bowl for a Tamba ware tea bowl. The entire surface is painted with dobe, and covered with ame and ash glaze, which may have been influenced by Iga ware.
It may have been named “Yukimakusa” (snow grass) in reference to its scenery. A mirror is attached to the prospect.
