This gourd-shaped hibiya has rounded shoulders and a tightened body, with six dents on the upper part of the body and nine dents on the lower part. The body is covered with a brownish brown sum, and there are splashes of sea squirt glaze throughout the body. This type of glaze is commonly called “Haidara” in Tamba, and was once a favorite of Mashida Nuno-o.
