 Bottom diameter 10.1cm
This piece was made using the so-called “carved brushwork” technique, but unlike Korean ceramics, it has an elegant finish that is unique to Kyoyaki. The body of this flat suisashi has a low, low rise at the mouth and a gently tapered shoulder. The body is decorated with arabesque patterns in a brushwork pattern and glazed with a cloudy white glaze, similar to the technique used in the previous painting. The bottom is stamped with the large seal of Ninsei.
