This is a Jiansui with elegant workmanship typical of Insei, and is glazed in the same way as the Nagare-glazed tea bowl. The interior is entirely covered with a cloudy white glaze, while the outside is covered with a persimmon-colored Seto glaze that flows from the mouth to the body. The left side of the flat bottom is stamped with the seal of Ninsei. It is probably made in the style of the Bodoteki Tatemizu.
