This piece is also modeled after an Insei style. This cylindrical container is decorated with bamboo ears on both sides of the upper part of the body and painted in iron with a design of “Kansan jitteki” (a design of a mountain in the cold mountain), with a slight blue overglaze painting on the robe. The white glaze with fine penetrations has a faint reddish mottled pattern, giving it a so-called “Gohon” style glaze surface. The bottom is flat with no markings.
