This small Buddhist vase with sealed flower design is from the peak of the period. Only the ring is large, giving it an incongruous appearance. The sealed flower design is stamped with a hanai design at the base and center of the oral part and a small chrysanthemum design below each of them. The iron glaze is uneven and has reduced to a dark blue color.
