 There are various types of goshi, including unmatched ones, ones with a low neck, and ones with a recess for the lid around the oral cavity. Some have no design, some have only a “kushime” (a line with a “kushi-me” or “comb” pattern), and others are decorated with “inka” (seal) and “gahana” (flower) patterns, making them truly richly decorated.
