Daegoryeong. Korean tea bowl, famous hand well. One name Araki Korai.
It is called “Oogourai” because it is a Korai tea bowl of Oido.
It is also known as Araki Koryo because it was owned by Araki Murashige. It is generally loquat-colored with a slight bluish tinge, but the change in glaze color is relatively small, making it a quiet tea bowl. It was handed down from Sen no Rikyu to Murashige and later to Tokugawa Ieyasu, but was given to the Owari family by Yoshinao, the founder of the Owari domain, and has been in the Owari family ever since. It is currently in the collection of the Tokugawa Reimeikai. (Gankan Meimono Ki, Kokin Meimono Ruiju, Meimono Chou, Taisho Meikikan)
