Specialty. Korean tea bowl, Makumagawa. The black rat color with purple in the loquat color of the tea bowl forms a blotched pattern like a purple cloud, so it was named after a poem by Sanetoshi Gon Dainagon in “Shin Chikyoshu”, “Hagi of the field when the dew hangs on the sleeve and the color is purple, or “than flowers”. It is a large tea bowl with richly varied scenery. Originally owned by Tamura Oki no Mamoru, it is said to have been handed down from the Kishu Tokugawa family. It later entered the Konoike family.
