 This jar was made in the same manner as the jar shown in Figure 63. The clay is high iron content with fine grains of feldspar, and the technique of rolling up the clay and forming the body in four stages, with the clay being brushed down from the top in the center of the body, is a technique that is prominent in Iga. The blackish-brown surface is covered with a yellowish-green natural glaze, and the surrounding areas are slightly clouded with white. There are ten kiln marks on the shoulder.
