 This jar, said to have been excavated from a medieval tomb in Totsu-cho, belongs to a different type from the three jars mentioned above, as it is made with a rounded mouth that has not been folded back with the mouth rim turned outward. It is made of corded clay and shaped with a brush pattern. It is well fired and the neck is distorted. The shoulders have a pale natural glaze.
