 The jade rim is broad and large. The clay is rolled up and molded, and the surface of the vessel is brushed. It is very well finished, with a faint reddish tinge from the reduction firing. The engraved lines on the shoulder are drawn with a comb with three eyes, and the kushime shibun technique began to appear around this time.
It was probably made in the late Kamakura period (early 14th century).
