This is a wide-mouthed jar with a large body diameter, but in terms of shape, it probably belongs to the jar family. This is a “tamadare no kogame. It is made of rolled-up clay, but the potter’s wheel shaping has given it an orderly shape.
Three comb lines are drawn on the shoulder, and between the upper two lines, short comb wave patterns are arranged on three sides. Although made in the Nanbokucho period, it was still fired by reduction firing, and the surface is gray.
