This ground bowl is made of highly refractory clay containing fine grains of siliceous stone, and has a good finish of rolled clay and shaping by grinding. The mouth rim is slightly warped, and the flat edge of the outer rim is chamfered by scraping. The inner surface is grated with a six-fold comb. It is not fully fired and has a light brown fire color.
It is probably from the late 14th century.
