This tea bowl also has a design of a bridge and a shrine. Moreover, it is an old Sumiyoshi-te type tea bowl with a Shino bridge design and the name Hashi-hime. Although the body is covered with a cord-like floating line, it has a simple semi-tubular shape, and the base is also carved out to a ring-shaped base. The simple painted design with a bridge and a shrine on the front and back is also by Sumiyoshi-te, but the brushwork is stronger and more solid. The thick glaze covering up to the edge of the stand is also one of the characteristics of this type of early Shino tea bowl.
