Gray Shino muközuke dishes with grass design

Height 5.6cm, Bowl diameter 15.4cm (left), 15.8cm (right), Four legs
These are two of the ten mukozuke vases in the set. The shape is almost the same as that of the Nezumi-Shino Nadeshiko mukozuke. The glaze is well melted and shiny, one is fired in a rat color and one in a red color, and a grass design is raised in white all over the prospective surface. The four corners of the bottom have legs, between which there are traces of placement. This type of mukozuke is thought to have been made during the Keicho period(1596-1615).
