This tea bowl was thrown on the potter’s wheel in a warped shape, and the three sides of the body were pressed down to form the mouth in the shape of a state beach. The base is carved low and small, and a kabukin stands on the inside of the base. The body is painted with bamboo on three sides with thick brush strokes, glazed inside and out, and the base is grayish-white and tightly fired. It is estimated to have been made by the Shokoya kiln.
