This is a deep bowl with the mouth twisted back in a ball-rimmed style, and the mouth is attached to make a kataguchi. KATAGUCHI pots are fired at various kilns in Karatsu, but this one is assumed to have been made at the Koraishin Kiln in Ichinose.
