Height 19.5 cm, mouth diameter 15.0-16.5 cm, left and right sides 23.2 cm, bottom diameter 19.0 cm
The mouth is probably made in the style of an arrowhead mouth, but the shoulder is a little tense and has ears on both sides of the shoulder. The mouth is red with a sesame glaze falling from one shoulder to the body, while the other side is red and tightly fired. Strong spatula carving has been applied to the upper and lower sides of the body, and the vertical side has also been strongly spatula-grained. A kiln mark remains in the center of the underside of the bottom.
The above example is considered to be an old example of a water jar with an arrowhead mouth and ears, and is estimated to have been made during the Tensho period (1615-1626).
