This is a rather thick and deep small bowl with a stepped waist, distorted mouth, and circular bottom. It is probably used as an incense bowl, but the kiln-hen pattern is very tasteful, and the clay is soft and tight. A rather large rounded kiln mark is engraved in the center of the prospect.
