 This is a typical Shigaraki small jar from the mid to late Muromachi period. It is a typical Shigaraki small jar of the mid to late Muromachi period, with a slightly outward opening and stepped mouth rim. The white clay is slightly reddish with a thin layer of ash from the mouth to the shoulder. It is a gentle and straightforward Shigaraki of the Muromachi period.
