Height 9.0cm, mouth diameter 10.0cm x 10.7cm, bird stand diameter 4.8cm
A semi-tubular tea bowl with a rounded waist and a plainly carved base. The body has a neck and the whole body is slightly distorted. There are traces of thread cutting on the tatami surface of the base. The ash glaze is applied from the mouth to the inside and outside, and the clay skin is reddish and softly fired. This Shigaraki teacup is a little old for a Shigaraki teacup, and is probably made in the Momoyama period.
