This is a famous bowl known as “Katami-kae Iraho.” The inscription “Natsuyama” is probably based on the blue glaze. The interior features a single brushstroke with overlapping layers, creating a beautiful scene. The bamboo-jointed foot is large and sturdy, and the rim is well-cut, giving it a dignified appearance. The foot is boldly shaped like a helmet, exuding a sense of grandeur that surpasses even a well. The subtle changes in the glaze around the foot add a touch of sophistication, while the fine lines on the surface enhance the beauty of the glaze. The mountain-like marks running along the body add an intriguing charm to the overall design.
