Height 9.2cm, mouth diameter 10.1cm, base diameter 4.7cm
This tea bowl is similar in shape to the Seto black cylindrical tea bowl, with a slight tension at the waist and an incorrectly rounded bamboo ring-like foot, the bottom of which is turned inward, and the workmanship around the foot is very interesting. The bottom of the bowl is turned inward, giving the bowl an interesting appearance around the base. The bowl is heavily glazed with a black candy-colored glaze, except for the tatami mats on the base, and the glazed surface is glossy and melted. The clay has a high iron content, and the skin has been fired to a purple-brown color. It is a tea bowl with elegance that seems to be handmade by a sukiya rather than a potter, and is a rare example of Tamba ware. There are traces of rounded circles around the base of the bowl.
It was handed down in the Fujita family.
