This small dish seems to have been fired at the Hyakumon kiln, and similar fragments have been excavated from the Hyakumon kiln. The white egret design is depicted in the foreground and surrounded by eagle feathers. Such a design with a white egret pattern and hawk feathers has only been excavated from the Hyakumon kiln. On the reverse side, a design resembling autumnal leaves is also depicted in underglaze blue on three sides. The tatami mats on the high stand are coated with a sandy texture. It was probably made around the end of Kan’ei period.
