This is one of the largest export porcelain dishes from the Genroku period. The entire surface is decorated with a tower and a lady, as well as chrysanthemums, peonies, and a taiko-seki stone, and it is interesting that a birdcage is depicted on a peony branch. The surroundings are covered with cloisonne enamel, and a stand with eight treasures is shown inside a six-sided window. The outside is decorated with peony, chrysanthemum, and plum blossoms on three sides. This is a magnificent work of art, unparalleled in Japan.
