This pottery is thought to have been produced at the Sanage kiln in Aichi Prefecture, judging from the firing process. The rim is beveled, a feature common to Sanage kiln vessels, and the ratio of the height to the diameter of the vase is larger than that of Minosue kiln vessels. The center of this piece has a mark from the overlaying of other vessels.
