Height 27.4 cm, mouth diameter 6.7 cm, body diameter 21.8 cm, bottom diameter 11.8 cm
The color tone of the overglaze painting on this jar is quite vivid, and the entire surface of the body is decorated with a lively design of a pavilion and landscapes. This jar was probably made in the early Kanbun period, as a similar design can be seen on Kendi-type water jars exported to the south during the Kanbun period.
The base is softly fired, and the body is rounded, indicating a slightly older style than the more stout-shouldered vases that became common in later periods.
