Sue ware was made for ritual use in the 5th and 6th centuries, but in the 7th century, when group tombs were at their peak, their ritualistic color faded and they became smaller in size. This is also a rather small straight-mouth jar with a thicker neck and a slightly reduced length. However, it is a fine example of a thin piece, and the dark green natural glaze applied to the gray surface makes it a very impressive piece.
