8th century
Height 17.3 cm, mouth diameter 9.4 cm, body diameter 16.7 cm, bottom diameter 10.4 cm.
The inflexed shoulder has a ridge with sunken lines above and below it. There is another sunken line below the ridge, with a design applied with a comb-like tool between the two lines. The lack of tension in the body, the low height in relation to the diameter of the body, and the increased diameter of the base suggest that it dates to the latter half of the 8th century. The firing is good, with uneven blackish brown firing on the half surface of the body. It is a thin and exquisite piece.
