This is an excellent example of a five-sun celadon porcelain dish with a bell-shaped rim. The design is vividly depicted with a gauze pattern in a black ink blotch and a ruyigashira design showing peonies in an arabesque style inside. The reverse side is decorated on three sides with a cloisonne design and a yume motif. The back is decorated on three sides with a cloisonne design with yui-me patterns.
