This is a stylish design in which a rabbit is depicted as a circle in shades of underglaze blue and the moon is symbolized by the left margin. On the reverse side, a wave and wave pattern is depicted, which was often used in the Edo period, combining the moon and the hare with the hare in waves. The base of the bowl is covered with a comb pattern.
