 This dish is a nine-sided dish with each ridge as a corner, each side of the dish is warped, and the rim is slightly raised to form a rouge, which is a common feature of nine-sided dishes. The rim is decorated with two tortoiseshell motifs on three sides and two birds in between, and the ground is painted in detail. The reverse side is decorated with a peony arabesque with nine flowers in underglaze blue, and the outside of the base is decorated with a lightning bolt in underglaze blue, and an inscription in seal script is written in a double square in the center of the base.
