Height 12.7 cm, mouth diameter 32.9 cm, base diameter 18.5 cm, base height 6.3 cm
This rarely seen pedestal bowl was shown to the public for the first time at the “Exhibition of Kogutani Masterpieces” held in September 1972 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Ishikawa Prefectural Government. It is a slightly deep bowl with an edge-bent mouth and a large, high stand, but no other bowls of this type have been produced. The front is decorated with a frame of turtle shell with chrysanthemums and bellflowers painted in red, and a half frame of turtle shell in purple, green, and blue around the frame. The back is decorated with a peony arabesque design in dark blue overglaze enamels, and the base is also covered with a cloisonne design in green and yellow.
