　This large bowl is rare among Aote potteries. The design is simple and clear, with a dark-green butterfly clearly expressed on a yellow ground. The yellow ground is covered with a small pattern of Matsuba kusashi, and the inside is decorated with a design resembling a peony arabesque, while the outside is decorated with a thin and spacious design of a peony arabesque, covered with a yellow glaze, and the high base is decorated with a design of blue ocean waves.
