The mouth rim of this narrow-necked vase had a two-tiered rim with a step below the rim band in the early period, but the step gradually faded away, and by the late 7th century, the step was eliminated. This vessel has a spherical body with a clear two-tiered mouth rim, which does not date from the first half of the 7th century. The molding of the body is similar to that of Fig. 150. The ware is extremely well finished, with a dark green natural glaze over a gray surface, and is considered one of the finest examples of a narrow-necked vase.
