This tea bowl is clearly a copy of the Nisei copy, with the base showing clay, the inside glazed with a penetrating white glaze similar to that of Nisei, and the outside elegantly painted with cranes and turtles on pine and bamboo. It is not clear when this type of Seikanji ware was produced, but it is speculated that the one with the seal may have been produced in a later period.
