This is a small, Kuchiyose type incense burner, also made by Insei, with legs on three sides of the bottom. The body is slightly bulged, and the entire surface is covered with a white glaze with rough penetrations and a tortoiseshell pattern in silver, red, and green from the mouth to the outside. The oval “wisteria” mark is stamped on the base, but it is not clear in which kiln it was fired. However, there is no doubt that it was made before the middle of the Edo period.
