Kiln No. 4 in Totsu is an old kiln site representing the final stage of Sue ware in Ishikawa Prefecture, and is thought to date from the late 10th century. After this period, the ears of the twin-ear vases became extremely exaggerated and larger in size. The lower half of the bottle has a further projection and is pierced with two holes in the upper half and one hole in the lower half. There are three sunken lines on the body.
