This is a binaural vase based on a wide-mouthed vase with a bulging body, the upper half of the neck of which is missing. The shoulder of the jar has a large, flattened shape characteristic of Hokuriku, with two holes and a gouge in the lower half. The vase is well fired, with a yellowish-white natural glaze over a grayish-black surface.
