This large jar has an upright neck with the apex of the mouth folded outward, and the shoulder is decorated with a single sunken line and three lateral ears. The base is made of sandy clay, and the body is formed in a ring shape with a three-tiered joint. The lower half of the body was adjusted by using a diagonal piece of wood to adjust the vessel surface. This technique is also seen in medieval Kaga kilns, and it is difficult to determine which one was used.
